It is recommended to use the NTFS file system because of its stability, security and less time defragmentation and supports the handling of files larger than 4GB, but most of us use FAT32. We only remember to switch to NTFS when copying a file larger than 4GB, and the error appears.
So this way wont need to save all data and format the USB drive and change file system to ntfs.
Important: This method works perfectly, but you should backup data in case something
goes wrong. I am not responsible for any damage to your computer.
1- Go to "My Computer" and check which letter was assigned
to the storage unit to convert
(in this example is “F”).
2- Click the Start menu, type
cmd in the search bar. You can
also use the shortcut Window
Key + r;
Digit
cmd on;
3- On cmd digit "chkdsk f: /
f" (without quotes), the first
"F" is the drive letter
to be converted (could be G, H, J, etc.). This
verifies that the drive for errors
and corrects them automatically;
4- Then type: Convert
F: / FS: NTFS
The conversion process will start, and after a few seconds, the message will appear that the process was successful.
Note: Sometimes the error “cyclic redundancy” can arise, but even so, the type of file has been converted to NTFS.

5- You can check it in the drive
properties through properties.
