Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta available for free download

This new version comes with many powerful new tools that will provide an excellent and most advanced professional editing and this first public beta brings some new tools.

The major improvement over the previous versions will be a very advanced GPU acceleration, the acceleration will enable a considerable slower tools such as liquify, in which case an image of 100 MB, was loaded in parts and very slow. Other improvements were made, the size of the brushes had a maximum of 1500 pixels now more than 14,000 pixels. Lag between the cursor and movement of large brushes will be eliminated in version CS6.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 does not have a date or official price, however, Adobe plans to release this version in the first half of this year.

Diablo III out on May 15

Studio Blizzard confirmed this Thursday, the third chapter of the Diablo series will be released on May 15th for PC and Mac, but must be purchased initially, via digital, meaning you need to do the download. The game have suggested retail price of 59.99€.

In Diablo III, players will take one of the five heroic characters - Barbarian, Wizard, Arcanist, Monk, or Demon Hunter - and will enter a fight against high pulse endless legions of evil. Upon entering an epic quest to rid the corrupt forces Shrine Burning Hell, players will explore various scenarios and dangerous, will gain experience and skill, acquire artifacts of incredible power, and know key players who will join them in battle or help in other ways.

Everyone has used PowerPoint at least once, and wished there were more and better tools.

Prezi is a cloud-based software to prepare presentations, save them, share and publish. This software offers a variety of customizable templates and allows you to include images, videos, YouTube content or PDFs for example.

Instead of going with the USB flash drive in the pocket, you can connect to the Internet, access to the service and start to impress the audience. This service is available in three forms, one of them is for free use.

Kaspersky Mobile Security:

Kaspersky has been one of the top companies in the Windows security in the world. this company wants also to position itself as one of the best on the security of Android OS.

The Lite version provides antivirus, anti-theft protection and a filter-based calls and SMS. It is a reasonable set of features, but as free antivirus is not very good.

However, the paid version adds scans for applications and also includes the protection of privacy. But the most attractive fact is the price - it costs only $ 9.99 in the Android Market!

This company has always been dedicated to the safety of smartphones. The free version is equipped with anti-virus detector, phone features and a backup utility and is among the most effective . As is free, it is a good choice. The paid version costs 30$ for year.

F-Secure Mobile Security

This application is only available on F-Secure site and beside there is no free version.

One of the most important feature is the parental-control, you can block sites or use a filtering content that will block sites which often parents do not approve. There is also a blacklist of phone numbers and even applications that can be configured as the user want to.

The big disadvantage is its price 30€/40$.

 The application looks great but more than that is an intelligent application, for example, when installing an application on Mac OS X, the application could have a variety of tools for developers that does not serve anything to you then this application immediately removes the unnecessary extras.

This software has two versions, a test version where some functions are not available and a full version which costs around 50$ (30€). There are also temporary versions for other prices.

Game of Thrones: combat-system revealed

Game of Thrones will certainly be one of the games that is generating higher expectations these days, much because it is based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin.

The game release is coming soon, today the official site of Game of Thrones was opened and it was revealed the following video.

To defeat your enemies, you will have the ability to slow down time during combat to analyze, anticipate and adopt the best strategy to attack or defend yourself. Also will have the ability to plan multiple special attacks for each of your playable characters and turn them at the right time to amplify its effect.

The game launch is planned for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Minecraft on Xbox 360

Minecraft arrives to Xbox LIVE Arcade on May 9 this year.

The Xbox 360 edition will cost 1600 Microsoft points and it will be part of a promotional campaign entitled Next Arcade, which begins April 18 with the game Evolutions Trial, followed by the Bloodforge April 25, Fable Heroes on May 2 and culminating with the game of Mojang.

I know that is an important step for Minecraft but could cost a little bit less than 1600 Microsoft points, just my opinion. 

Angry Birds Space on App Store

The newest version of Angry Birds as arrived the App Store on 22 March, and its already a success.

With some news characters to help fight the pigs, angry birds now flew to the space, for a new adventure.

Now, with this new game method we have to use the force of gravity of each planet, to fight against pigs.

Windows 8 will be launched in October 2012

It's confirmed the launch of that is expected to be the best operating system ever produced by Microsoft. Windows 8 will be on the market in October.

The final version of  this windows will be lanched to desktop, lattops and tablets. This launch coincides with Christmas shopping season so manufacturers can create a timeline to make adaptations and adjustments

I like the new interface "Metro" but I have tested this windows on a virtual machine and is not very appropriated for a desktop. I hope that will be a option to select Metro or something similar to the actual desktop, because this windows is very light, and faster,  the metro interface it's more appropriated to tablets. On my pc i'll keep with windows 7 unless that will be the option refered before. Or maybe buy a tablet for Christmas.

Minecraft - My favourite game

To iniciate my blog I will bring for my first review the game "Minecraft"

Minecraft is a rpg about placing cubes, focused on building and creativity. You have two game modes, survival and creative. As the name says, on the first one you need to survive, you have to search for resources, as food, wood and other blocks, on the middle of the desert, florest, swamp, caves, etc. On the creative mode you have unlimited resources, and also the ability to fly.

Not everything its easy, on survival not only you need to maintain your health and hunger, but also you need to survive against monsters, like, zombies, skeletons, creepers, and more...

But if you think that be alone in a unlimited world its sad you have the option to play it online with your friends and make an awesome explorer adventure, and survive together.

The game was designed by Marcus (Notch) Person, and developed by mojang. To play the you only need to create an account and download the minecraft.exe. You can also buy the game to have some extra options, like play on premium servers or change your skin.
